Who we are

The MVMS music program consists of students of all walks of life who share a desire to push themselves to grow with music as the vehicle.

Through consistency and perseverance the MVMS music program is regularly one of the largest and most decorated program in the district with nearly 40% of students at Mesa View choosing to enroll in a full time music class at the end of the ‘24-’25 school year.

Our Mustang Band was acknowledged by the California Music Educators Association as being in the top 30 ensembles in Southern California out of ALL middle and high school bands to perform at a sanctioned festival in the spring of ‘25.

MVMS has had the most students of any middle school win a seat in the All-County honor band for 7 of the last 8 years.

We value hard-work and welcome all students who want to push themselves to develop their musical skills to the best of their abilities.
